We frequently receive requests as to the procedure to follow if someone wants to screen in their porch.  The procedure is fairly simple.  A request to the Board of Directors is the first step, as all requests such as this must be approved by the board.  Along with your request, you need to submit a drawing or a photo of a similar layout you want to copy.  You may specify the photo above as your design.

Once approved by the board, all wood used in the construction must be pressure treated.  If siding is involved (ground level patios) it must be hardi-plank siding.  The painting of the wood must conform to the rest of the complex, such as the beige color for the siding and the dark brown for the trim and door (if door is included). Both of these paint colors are on file and available at the Sherwin Williams store in North Myrtle Beach, Highway 17 (near the Food Lion).  The contractor you use, must be licensed and must check in with our Property Manager, Don Lamontagne before proceeding and must call him for inspection after rough-in is complete.  His number is listed on the Home Page of this website.
